The group of artists known as “Kaleidoscope” extends an invitation to their upcoming Oshibana Art Exhibition.
Join us for our reception on March 3 from 1-4pm in Studio 114 at Art Bias
Artists Inna Zatulovsky, Olga Minkovich, Irina Shishikina create floral collages of carefully preserved flowers, plants and painted watercolors. They share:
“It’s our modern interpretation of ancient Japanese Oshibana art. Many centuries before us, Samurai warriors were the only ones who had the privilege to occupy themselves with this art form. Rules changed with time, but tradition lives. Today we also get to explore the harmony and beauty of fallen leaves and fragile flowers.
Over the years, we have had the pleasure of exhibiting our diverse artworks in Foster City, Cupertino, San Jose, Santa Clara, and have even participated twice in the Triton Museum auction, where every painting found a new home.
We hope you will enjoy exploring our work as we enjoyed creating them.”
